The crate is composed of 3 elements: a base, foldable sides and a cover. The base is normally built in multi-ply or conifer wood and palletised on 2 or 4 sides. The foldable sides and the cover are built in multi-ply Nordic birch. Assembly uses groove joints and can be finalised using fastening nails, screws or plastic or metal straps.
